How this tool works
Parsing is performed using the browser’s standards-based JSON parser. It does not send your pasted data to a server. JSON permits strings, numbers, booleans, null, arrays and objects, but not JavaScript comments or trailing commas.
Practical tip
For large JSON documents, formatting expands file size significantly. Export the minified form when file size matters.
